"Time Required" is a short-form documentary (under 40 minutes) telling a raw portrait of New Jersey-based artist Bill Logan. Shining a spotlight on an artist that does not crave the attention his work merits. After nearly two decades of reinvention, Bill Logan’s innovation, repetition, and discipline has helped him write a new artistic language through his use of ink.

The film will be told entirely in Bill's own voice; through personal stories, reflections, and the act of creating in his studio, we will uncover the arc of his remarkable and award-winning career. His story includes his time as a Life Magazine executive, bronze sculpting, bug maker, and photo-realistic painter. Highlighting the freedom of expertise and how art can be the visual representation of one’s life.
