"Time Required" is a short-form documentary (under 40 minutes) - telling a raw portrait of New Jersey artist Bill Logan. The film will shine a spotlight on an artist that does not crave the attention his work merits. After nearly two decades of reinvention, Bill Logan’s innovation, repetition, and discipline has helped him rewrite artistic language, using ink.

The film will be told entirely in Bill's own voice; through personal stories, his reflections, and with him at work in his studio. We’ll uncover the arc of his remarkable, career; a story that includes time spent as a commercial illustrator and on the staff of LIFE Magazine, as bronze sculptor, a bug maker, writer and a super-realistic painter. Then he gave it all up, and this is where his exploration of creativity truly began! We’re taking that journey with him, witnessing and filming his uncompromising pursuit of reinvention. Art is a visual representation of one’s life, but what happens when it also becomes a pilgrimage into an unexplored mind-scape?
